Podgorica, June 2026 – The Slovenian Academy of Management (SAM) proudly participated as a partner organization in the successful delivery of the 8th International Conference on Management and Organization (ICMO 2026), one of the largest international gatherings of management scholars and practitioners ever hosted in Montenegro.
Held under the theme “Sustainability by Design: Rethinking Strategy, People & Digital Futures,” the conference brought together more than 300 researchers, educators, business leaders, and institutional representatives from over 45 countries. Through thought-provoking discussions, research presentations, and professional exchanges, participants explored innovative approaches to addressing the sustainability challenges facing organizations and societies worldwide.
As a collaborating academy, the Slovenian Academy of Management was honored to contribute to this outstanding event alongside colleagues from Montenegro, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the Academy of Management (AOM).
