SYMPOSIUM ON THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF PROF. DR. FILIP LIPOVEC

The Slovenian Academy of Management Association held a symposium on Wednesday, 21 June 2023, marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Filip Lipovec.

Prof. Dr. Filip Lipovec made original scientific contributions primarily in three broad and important areas: the economics of self-managed enterprises and self-management, business analysis, and organization theory, including management and administration.

The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Rudi Rozman and Prof. Dr. Metka Tekavčič. This was followed by presentations of all contributions included in the SAM proceedings volume Lipovec. After the break, a lively discussion developed on Lipovec’s work and the relevance of his insights in today’s context, which continued during the reception.
