DEBATE EVENING WITH THE PRESENTATION OF A SPECIAL ISSUE OF THE JOURNAL CHALLENGES TO MANAGEMENT

The Executive Board of the Slovenian Academy of Management Association organized a debate evening featuring the presentation of a special issue of the journal Challenges to Management. The event took place on Thursday, 8 December 2022, at 17:00 at the Faculty of Economics (Senate Meeting Room) and in the Zoom online environment. The event was dedicated to a special occasion, namely the celebration of the JUBILEE of Prof. Dr. Rudi Rozman.

Prof. Dr. Rudi Rozman celebrated his 80th birthday this year. On such an important jubilee, we express our deep gratitude through the publication of a special issue of Challenges to Management, as his work, engagement, positivity, and unstoppable drive have significantly influenced colleagues and many generations of students across all levels of study.

The first part of the event was marked by speeches from individuals whose lives have been particularly shaped by their collaboration with Prof. Rozman. Joining us were:

– Dr. Metka Tekavčič, Dean, Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana
– Dr. Aleša Saša Sitar, Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana
– Dr. Milan Jelovčan, Isolab d.o.o.
– Dr. Miran Mihelčič, retired professor, Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana

In the second part of the event, the authors of the contributions in the special issue of Challenges to Management presented their experiences of working with Prof. Rozman and highlighted the key points of their papers.

Of course, Prof. Rozman also addressed the audience, sharing his reflections, experiences, and advice.

The presentations and discussion were moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nina Tomaževič.
