This article examines the relationship between education and happiness in the EU countries. The results show that tertiary education and an individual’s happiness are positively correlated. Furthermore, young individuals who are not employed, in education, or in training (NEET) tend to show lower levels of happiness. Additionally, the link between student-to-teacher ratio and happiness is shown to be negative, but statistically not significant.
